Project Nobbys
Located just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast, this kitchen showcases two beautiful elements of our joinery.
Firstly, the white shaker profile exterior panels of the cupboards are slick and modern in their look. Add to that the VJ grove internal, and the look is elevated to the next level.
This joinery is classic, seamless and versatile, and the shaker style is undoubtedly enjoying a renaissance at the moment, becoming a popular choice in many modern, architecturally designed homes and commercial spaces. The shaker-style kitchen is distinctly minimal, with clean lines and little or no adornment. The cabinets in this kitchen are finished in Dulux white on white satin 2 pac, meaning they are extremely durable. The satin finish means they are forgiving when scratched or marked.
The black handles, along with 20 mm Quantum quartz “Ash Grey” stone benchtops, create a modern luxury feel while maintaining a light and fresh feel when entering the kitchen area.
The use of darker tone timber floors also adds to that sense of luxury and helps to create a sense of depth in the space.
When used correctly, cabinets can help to create a kitchen that is both practical and beautiful. Here is one such example.
