Top 5 ways to celebrate your new kitchen

If you’ve just had a new kitchen installed, you’re probably very excited about it! There’s nothing we love more than seeing our clients enjoy their new kitchens. So why not celebrate your new kitchen by trying out a few of these ideas?

As well-reputed Gold Coast cabinetmakers, we hear time and time again how great it feels to have a new kitchen installed. For most, it feels like living in a whole new place! We recently helped one fantastic client celebrate her kitchen, so we wanted to share the love with these great ideas.

1. Host a family dinner

Invite some friends and family over and let them take in the new space. By preparing a delicious dinner, you can show off your cooking skills and your beautiful new kitchen at the same time!

2. Have an intimate dinner date at home

Now you’ve got a delectable new space, you can create a cosy, intimate celebration with champagne and candles in your new kitchen. Eating in is the new eating out, as they say. And we couldn’t agree more!

3. Throw a cocktail party

This can be a super fun way of getting lots of your friends together. In teams of two (or couples), each team gets to make and serve a cocktail for everyone else at the party. If you want to make it competitive, you can rate each other’s cocktails on look, taste and creativity. This can be a great way to appreciate your new kitchen and have some fun at the same time.

4. Baking day with the kids

All children love biscuits and cake, right?! So get your hands dirty and start making that dough! It’s a great activity to do with the kids, and you’ll be creating memories and teaching new skills simultaneously.

5. Have a cooking class

Adults like learning, too, so why not mix it up a bit and get experimental with some different recipes and ingredients? You can all enjoy the space while learning something new.
